Clearing Debris to Improve FlowUpdated 10 days ago

Step 1Step 2Step 3

To give your Washer a good clean & descale to get it operating at full strength, follow these steps:

  1. Remove the micro-spinner in the centre of the washer cavity with a firm upwards pull

  2. Remove the lower tray by opening the clips with your thumbnails, and pulling upwards with your fingers

  3. Lift the main rotating arm. If there is debris in the basket, rotate it counterclockwise and lift to remove.

  4. Use something small, such as tweezers or a needle, to dislodge any scale buildup in these parts, then shake the deposits out and flush out with water.

  5. If you have a screwdriver, you can try removing the metal grate too, scrubbing any limescale off the heater plate with an old toothbrush.

Use the pictures above to help guide you through separating the parts.

Afterwards, you can give the washer a really good descaling using the instructions on P16 in the manual:

  • Pour 200ml of White Vinegar (5% acetic acid) and 200ml of water into the main Washer Cavity. (Not the Water Tank).

  • Allow mixture to rest for 8 hours (or overnight) in the Washer Cavity.

  • Run a ‘Clean’ cycle with fresh water from the tank to flush out the vinegar & limescale.

  • The Washer is ready to use again.
